Diwali Celebrations
Tue 04 Nov 2025This week our Infant children enjoyed learning about Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights. The children explored the different ways people celebrate Diwali and the importance of light in the festival.
They loved creating their own diya lamps, using and experimenting with mehndi designs, drawing intricate patterns. They worked together to make colourful rangoli patterns to welcome good luck.
As part of their learning, the children listened to the story of Rama and Sita, discovering how it links to the triumph of good over evil and why lights are so important during Diwali.
