When lockdown first started

We all had to be parted.

We said goodbye, cheerio

And off home we did go.

It was PE with Joe every day

Followed by learning…a different way!

Easter came and went

Time in the garden we spent.

Shops sold out of flour and pasta

But toilet rolls were selling even faster!!

We found new ways to chat,

Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp.

Clapped for careers, painted rainbows,

Journeyed through the highs and lows.

And now today, here we are

We have all come so far.

Safely, we can begin to meet

But remember, stay 2 metres when you greet!
