Headteacher vlog 22nd May
Fri 22 May 2020We have made it to half term and what a strange half term it feels like. Teachers will write again at the start of next half term to introduce you to the topics you will be doing (some will be carrying on and some will be starting a new topic). School will feel a bit different after the holiday because we will start to reopen to children in preschool, reception, year 1 and year 6. We look forward to seeing those of you coming but know that things will be a bit different for us all!
This week's headteacher vlog is now live : https://www.gunthorpeschool.co.uk/headteacher-vlog-of-the-week/
So do see who is in the brilliant book this week.
In part 2 I mention about how in reward for filling the jar of determination pebbles from all your values slips in the first week back children will get to become the teachers for half a day so please do email childrenwork@gunthorpe.notts.sch.uk with tasks, activities and challenges and let me know which teacher it is for! We will video them and let you see the results!

You should have received 2 emails today. One which has a letter to all Gunthorpe children and asks for them to complete a form about how they are feeling: www.tinyurl.com/Gunthorpechildren
The other one has 2 attachments regarding the reopening of schools on 1st June. A letter from our CEO Martyn Skinner and a letter from myself.
If your child is in preschool, reception, year 1 or year 6 please can I ask you to complete the form here: https://tinyurl.com/GunthorpeReopening if you are intending on sending your child to school or are unsure and would like a phone call.

Headteacher Vlog Friday 1st May
Fri 01 May 2020All childrens work has now been uploaded onto their class pages.
Our latest Fantastic Friday assembly is now live:
https://www.gunthorpeschool.co.uk/headteacher-vlog-of-the-week/
I have created an online form to try and provide an easy way for you to let us know how you and your children are coping with home learning and the resources we are providing. Please use it to feedback to us. We would ask every parent to fill it in for every child by next Friday so that we can make changes to the way we provide home learning to best meet your needs.
