• Alternative Advent supporting Framework

  A big thank you to all our families who kindly contributed to our alternative advent appeal for Framework a  charity supporting people who are facing a range of challenges based in Nottingham. We had an overwhelming response and all your donations are now on their way, ready to be distributed at Christmas. 

  

• Open Doors Christmas Craft Day

  A big thank you to Milly Lawson from open doors who came into school today to work with all our children on some fabulous Christmas craft/art activities. As part of the day our Y1-Y6 children completed an arts log and worked to gain their Discover Arts award from Trinity college London. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the day and had lots of fun!

  

• Senior Singalong 2023

  What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon! It was  lovely to see so many people from our local community joining us for an afternoon of tea, cake and songs. They were welcomed by our year 6 children who did an amazing job as hosts and then the whole school in various different groups sang a collection of Christmas songs. A big thank you to Rev Anna who joined us for the afternoon and led us in a finishing prayer.  

  

• Infant Nativity Play

  Well done to our infants whose performance of The Sleepy Shepherd this evening was brilliant. All the children really enjoyed themselves and sung out enthusiastically.

• Christingle celebration

  To mark the start of Advent  all the children made a Christingle in school today. The infant children then began our collective worship this afternoon by explaining the meaning behind each part of the Christingle and the some junior children lit theirs as part of our school welcome to worship.
