Autumn Term
Celebrating Diwali - We joined Infant 2 for a fantastic Diwali celebration. We made divas, created rangoli and mehndi patterns and learnt about the story of Rama and Sita,
Autumn leaf wands - we had to choose a perfect stick and then a brilliant leaf to create our wands. We the carefully wound wool around the stick to complete them
Autumn leaf art - we collected lots of leaves and created these wonderful lions.
We made these fabulous bonfire night pictures by creating a background and then adding collaged rockets.
Autumn art work
We have been looking at the signs of autumn all around us. We have used leaves for printing and finger painted and collaged autumn trees. We also learnt about hedgehogs, hibernation and nocturnal animals.
The infants entered Maxeys farm shop scarecrow competition. We worked together as a team to create Little Miss Muffet and her spider. If you visit Maxeys, don't forget to vote!
We looked at the art work of Giuseppe Arcimboldo and created our own faces out of fruit and vegetables inspired by his work. Have a look at our gallery below!
