Diversity Day
Tue 22 Jul 2025Today we held and celebrated our school Diversity Day, centred on the theme “We Are All Wonders.” It was a day filled with reflection, learning, and creativity as we explored what makes each of us unique, while also recognising the threads that connect us all.
Children reflected on the idea that everyone is wonderfully made, with their own special gifts, backgrounds, and experiences. Through stories, discussions, and activities, we celebrated both individuality and community.
Other activities included learning about Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah, whose powerful story showed us how determination and courage can overcome life’s challenges. Emmanuel’s journey inspired pupils to see ability, not limitation, and to think about how we can support and include others.
We also explored different types of families, learning that love and care are what truly make a family. Discussions around racism and respect helped children understand the importance of standing up for fairness and treating everyone with kindness. Our infant children enjoyed learning to say hello in different languages and had great fun tasting snacks from around the world, helping them appreciate the richness of global cultures in a hands-on, joyful way.
Throughout the day, pupils took part in creative activities and thoughtful conversations that helped build empathy, celebrate diversity, and strengthen our shared values.
Diversity Day reminded us that while we are all different, we are all valuable—woven together by kindness, respect, and the belief that everyone belongs.

They loved rolling giant hay bales and playing together in the wide-open spaces. After lunch, the fun continued as they explored the fabulous mud kitchen, zoomed around on toy tractors, and worked together to make their very own scarecrows.

Values Day
Mon 30 Jun 2025Today we held a Whole School Values Day, where children across the school came together to reflect on and celebrate our core values: Forgiveness, Friendship, Respect, Determination, and Service.
Pupils were placed into mixed-age groups and worked together brilliantly as they explored the meaning behind each value through a range of thoughtful and creative activities. Each value was brought to life through stories from the Bible, helping the children understand their deeper importance and how they can be lived out in everyday life.
There was a fantastic sense of teamwork, care, and cooperation throughout the day. It was inspiring to see older and younger pupils supporting one another and realising just how much our school values shape the way we learn, play, and grow together.
A meaningful and memorable day for all!
