Summer Reading challenge

Over the holiday we held our own Summer Reading Challenge and we were absolutely blown away with the results. We had 39 children complete the challenge and an additional 6 children had a go and handed their forms in even though they did manage to complete 15 of the challenges. A big thank you to all those who joined in the fun they all got a prize in assembly today to say well done.

We also challenged the children to see how many unusual places they could find to read in and the top 3 entries  were Connie- Harry Potter Studios, Rhys mid bounce at Planet Bounce and Jacob on a theme ride! All 3 children have won a £5 book voucher which they also received today in assembly.

We have exciting plans for Reading this year at Gunthorpe as we hope to develop some Reading ambassadors from each year group.
