Head teacher blog w/c 18th November 2019

What a fantastic week we have had, we found out our year 5/6 athletics team are into the top final and they are working hard to prepare for that in the final week of this half term. We had a company called now press play in to demonstrated a brilliant fully immersive audio experience to enhance their learning on climate zones and the arctic. On Thursday we held our rearranged parents evening and it was so lovely to hear such positive feedback from parents and staff. If you did have a feedback form it is not too late to return those. We love hearing from parents about how their child is getting on. Finally we had our book fair which started on Thursday and is running until next Thursday when we will also be holding our stay and read 8.15-9 in the hall.

We were incredibly proud of 2 junior 2 boys this week for out of school achievements. Ali has been selected to train as part of Notts County Cricket club- a huge well done and we look forward to hearing about future competitions. Also Oliver B wrote a beautiful poem reflecting on remembrance which he read for us all in assembly and was incredibly moving. Thank you for taking the time to write it and bring it in to share Oliver.

On to our brilliant book...
