Head Teachers blog w/c 2nd Dec
What a busy and fun filled week it has been! We had our Christingle service on Monday, Nottingham Forest bring the Champions Cup in on Tuesday and Framework visit on Wednesday to share where our Alternative Advent donations are going! Amongst that the Infants have been busy practising their nativity and Juniors their carol concert. Both are sounding brilliant- you are in for a real treat!
On to our brilliant book...
Infant 1- Bella and Pheobe- for their fantastic Starry Night pictures. Both girls took their time and added details. They then decided to make another Starry Night picture all by themselves, collecting everything they needed. Do have a look at them below!
Infant 2- Lyla Mullins- for being really helpful. A kind and caring member of the class and a great role model.
Jake, Lauren and Seb- both Mrs Brown and Mrs Shaw were blown away with their vocab and maths knowledge.
A bonus mention to Freddie for his beautiful Big Freeze art work- absolutely stunning.
Junior 1- Year 3/4 girls in the Futsal team played really well and even managed to score a goal which is a fantastic achievement. They lost one game 1-0 and drew the other 1-1. Well done to all involved!
Carla- for always getting on with her work and being sensible in all situations, and for always listening!
Krishan- for trying his best and successding in maths this week despite missing many lessons through illness. Excellent listening and hard work.
Junior 2- Massive well done to both Jacob and Joshua who represented the school at the Rushcliffe Cross Country Championship on Wednesday. Out of 70 boys Jacob came 14th and Josh came 2nd. Amazing achievement from both boys.
Jiamin- a fantastic performance in a maths arithmetic test scoring 32 out of 32!
Katy and Harriet- Great maths work calculating differences between 2 amounts of money.
