Head Teachers Blog w/c 16th December

What a fantastic week it has been please do see the December newsletter and look at the twitter for some fantastic photos and updates on this last week of term. Far too much to mention here!

This week in the brilliant book we have...

Infant 1- Henry for building a fantastic sleigh out of a cardboard box for all his friends to play in.
Niamh then made shiny noses for all her friends who wanted to be reindeer! Oh what fun!

Infant 2- writer of the week - Freddie for a great letter to Santa explaining why he has been good all year!

Seb- for enthusiasm and asking lots of questions at white post farm!

Junior 1- Hudson for his extraordinary achievements in taekwondo. He brought in his trophy to show us as he was chosen as fighter of the year 2019 after only starting just over a year ago. He is doing so well, concentrating and working hard. He just skipped a belt in his grading- what a star!

Harrison- for his service at all time’s to school. He shows real integrity when being his best even when no one else is around. From helping new people settle into school to going the extra mile when someone dropped out and learning extra lines in the concert. You truly are an example of our school value!

Junior 2- for all year 6s showing service in our senior song-a-long.

Athletics team- a brilliant effort in the Rushcliffe final. 9th out of the whole of Rushcliffe and 1st out of all the small schools. What an achievement we are really proud of you all.

To all Junior 1 and Junior 2 in the carol concert a big well done from Mr Tyler and Mrs Nolan!

All that remains is to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
