50 Years Celebration

Today our wonderful village primary school celebrated its 50 year anniversary (on its present site) and 150 years of a school in Gunthorpe village. It was a fantastic afternoon attended by parents and staff, both past and present. There was a hall full of photos and old documents for people to explore and cakes and refreshments kindly supplied by our parent association - FOGS. In the classrooms children has written some fantastic pieces about what it is like to be a pupil at Gunthorpe today.

 Amazingly, two of our families have their fifth generation attending our school!
