  • Values Day

Our recent Values Day was a wonderful opportunity for children to spend time reflecting on and exploring our five core school values.

Children were split into five mixed-age groups and took part in a range of activities centred around each of our values. Using the book Heroes of Hope, we learnt about five Christians whose lives demonstrated these values in action, inspiring us to think about how we can live them out in our own daily lives.

Throughout the day, the children shared thoughtful ideas, asked insightful questions and engaged in meaningful discussions. It was particularly heartwarming to see the mixed-age groups working so beautifully together. Older pupils took great care in supporting and encouraging younger children, modelling our values through their actions as well as their words.

The day reminded us all why we are part of the Gunthorpe family and how each of us can play our part in making our school community a positive and caring place. By reflecting on our values and learning from inspiring role models, the children were encouraged to be the very best they can be and to let their light shine.

It was a truly uplifting day, full of learning, reflection and teamwork, and we were incredibly proud of all the children.
