STEAM
STEAM stands for Science, Technology (DT), Engineering (including Computing), Art and Maths. We also include Physical Education within this team.
We aim to enhance children's provision within these areas to explore an investigate approach. To ensure that children are provided with a wide range of opportunities to hypothesise, to test, to evaluate and to learn throughout.
We aim to develop the critical skills of communication, innovation, and creativity. By allowing children to explore their expressive side through the arts, they are able to expand their creative thinking skills, which are necessary to solve complex engineering, science, and math problems. These creative thinking skills teach your child to think outside of the box and to explore different, non-traditional paths to a solution.
