Headteacher blog w/c 25th February
Last week was a very busy first week back after half term with the launch of our fair trade fortnight and a fantastic Romans afternoon for Junior 1.
This half term we are looking at the whole school value of Forgiveness. This week we thought about how you need to listen to each other in order to do this which linked on from Friendship and the importance of listening!
On to our brilliant book.
Infant 1- Ben is the Super Sentence writer. Ben is trying really hard with his writing in general. He is trying to keep it neat and to remember his finger spaces and full stops.
Seb- for showing a ‘can do’ attitude more and more. This week he has been having a go at writing on his own and spent most of an afternoon making a spider with real care and determination.
Infant 2- Writer of the week- Lyla P for a fantastic newspaper report and witness statement for the Great Fire of London.
Toby- for fantastic improvement in his reading. Keep on practising Toby!
