What a fantastic time we had last week. The children were looking at the value of Friendship and our playground buddies have been making sure that everyone has someone to play with during dinner times and playtimes. They really are setting an excellent example to the rest of the school so keep it up!
In our brilliant book we celebrated…
Lillie-Mae (Infant 1) for settling into school so well and getting used to all the new routines.
Jake (Infant 1) for showing how grown up he can be. He has been brilliant at being kind and helpful to his friends
Frances (Infant 2) for returning to school with a positive, determined and ‘can do’ attitude
Heidi (Infant 2) for tidying up without being asked and show others how to help
Evie (Junior 1) for a beautiful descriptive piece of writing including expanded noun phrases
Summer and Riley (Junior 1) for being the best they can be and producing the best piece of work they have ever done!
Rosie and Jaby (Junior 2) for fantastic maths work with Roman numerals.
We also mustn’t forget the fantastic Gunthorpe Gala on Sunday- It really was a huge success and we look forward to finding out just how much money was raised for the school. A big thank you to all staff and parents who helped make it come together so well.
