Progress and attainment 2017-18

We are very pleased that this years Reception cohort achieved 100% good level of development across all areas. This compares to a national average of 71%

In Year 1 100% of children passed the phonics screening test and all children from Year 2 had passed the previous year.

At the end of Key stage 1, 91% of children achieved the expected standard in reading with 36% achieving greater depth.  91% achieved the expected standard in writing with 36% at greater depth. 91% achieved the standard in maths with 18% at greater depth.

At the end of Key stage 2, 100% of children achieved the expected standard in reading compared with 75% nationally with 54% achieving greater depth compared to 28% nationally. 85% achieved the standard in Writing compared with 78% nationally with 8% achieving greater depth compared to 20% nationally. 77% achieved the standard in maths compared with 76% nationally and 23% achieved greater depth compared to 24% nationally.

Overall 69% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths combined compared to 64% nationally.  15% of pupils achieved the higher standard in reading, writing and maths combined compared to 10% nationally.
