Merry Christmas!

What a fantastic term it has been. We had a collective worship yesterday where the children shared their favourite songs and memories of the term. It was lovely to hear them talk about the range of experiences they have enjoyed some you would expect and others you might not! From Jesus birthday party in infant 1, the nativity, carol concert and enterprise week all featured highly.  But also RE lessons, electricity in science (Junior 1), gymnastics (the whole school!), fry up Friday and PE tournaments out of school.

We had a brilliant final fry up Friday this morning, thank you so much to everyone who came! Just a reminder we have a huge amount of lost property so please do come and see if you are missing anything.

A few reminders for the holidays:

Infant 1- You have some fantastic new books and festive red words to practise reading and writing.

Infant 2- Miss Bottrell has organised a Christmas reading challenge and I believe there is a prize involved! Please also remember your PE kits for the first day back.

Junior 1- Mrs Nolan has set mathletics and bug club for you to have a look at! You also need your PE kit for the first day back please.

Junior 2- Your homework is all in your planner as normal. Your first DARE session is the first Friday of term.

There are still places available at our free dance after school club on Tuesdays – open to all Juniors.

Finally all that remains is for us to wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and we will see you back on Tuesday 8th January 2019!
