Head Teachers blog 25th March

What a brilliant, sun filled, week it has been. I know all the children have really enjoyed getting onto the school field- Infant 1 you can join them after the Easter holidays. We have had both a football match and indoor cricket tournament this week so well done to both teams. Our football team had a fantastic effort with big improvements from the last time they played and the score line, 6-0 against Langar, did not represent how well they played. They were unlucky not to score on several occasions. Our cricket team managed to win one game, with a fantastic catch from Oliver, and lost the other. Both teams represented our school superbly so well done.

We are very much looking forward to our Easter service next Thursday at 9.15 in the school hall. I do hope you can join us- an email did go out earlier this week with further details and about our egg decorating competition. Children & adults are invited to decorate an egg – in any theme you wish. There are three categories, Infants, Juniors & Older siblings/adults. There will be a winner & a runner up for each category. The decorated eggs need to be handed into school from Monday 1st April to Thursday 4th April & the judging will take place after the Easter service. The prizes will then be awarded on Friday 5th April.
